PopBasic Jane Collection is up

Standard

Hi everyone!

What is  ?

Popbasic is a startup fashion/beauty company that curates microcollections that help you build staples in your wardrobe. There are typically 3 items (always one clothing piece and one accessory piece). All of these items are manufactured/branded as Popbasic.  Each micocollection is limited edition. There are 10 previous collections (Beta, Sherwood, Salut!, Serendipity, Lost, Rubi, Melodie, SundayAshbury, and the Paloma). The current collection is the Jane Collection, but you can still buy the Paloma.

I have to say, their items are really good quality and go great with what you have in your closet already. They’re very versatile, and pair well with current items. My pain point with this is that the costs of this sub are kind of high, but they do $15 off with referrals (see the bottom if you’d like the code).

The Jane Collection

The Three Items in this Collection:

  1. Jane Blush Tee
  2. Black Pencil Skirt
  3.  2 Looped Necklace
  4. Small gift from partnering company?

Cost: $75

Thoughts

From receiving their last collection, I can say that the quality of the items is really good. All of these are manufactured as PopBasic’s own brand, so I can’t tell the real cost/value of the items. I can say that $75 is expensive, but manageable with $15 off. The black tank top I received last collection is a great staple, and I’m sure the pink one could be a great staple for building a collection as well. I’m not digging the pencil skirt, but that’s because I’m way too short for them, so they tend to look very awkward on me. If your body type is right for pencil skirts, I think this is a great collection. Also the necklace looks pretty. Though it kind of reminds me of keeping someone’s ring on your necklace… maybe that is the point.

The shirt is also longer in the back (which I personally like). That’s good for pairing with leggings or whatever else, but when tucked in won’t be noticeable.

I think this looks like a good spring collection, and can be very easily worn for school presentations, work, or what not. 🙂
