It looks like a really nice keychain. It’s $15 before the discount, so if you put other stuff in your cart (e.g. $20 worth of stuff), you can get the mystery sample pack and use up some of your points. I didn’t want to spend my points yet (~700), but maybe soon.

Birchbox just launched a new service called Birchbox Weddings! You can find it here (non affiliate – just the website)
See screenshots of it below! You basically get the modern mermaid box if you spend $90+ in subscriptions or gifts. I don’t think the modern mermaid box is that great, but these could be a cute little gift for your bridesmaids or something. Though I think it’s kind of a small and slightly impersonal gift.

The theme for this month’s Birchbox has been revealed! It’s going to be Lighten Up. There are three add-ons this month. One with Chloe+Isabel, One with Third Love, and the other with Jouer. IMO the Joer eyeshadow is a bad deal compared to similar Givenchy for $23 or NARS eye paint for $25.

Just so all of you are aware, Birchbox tracks everything that people do on their website.
Ignore the first add-on (it’s Wolfram-Alpha), the next 3 are what is important. Do Not Track me (the one with cross-hairs) shows that there are 8 trackers and Ghostery shows that are 18. I went through and unblocked all of them for this picture, but I normally keep them blocked.
This. is. creepy.
The reason why this is a big deal is because they take this data and sell it. When you click on the website, they track where you go, do you buy on what you click, or do you go and look at another item? What stops you from buying this? They take all of this data and fit it to your profiles, and then sell it.
They also sell the data you get from the surveys you take.
You can download ghostery, do not track me, and ad-block plus for free and use them as extensions for firefox, chrome, and other browsers. I would highly suggest it.

Thoughts: There are better cheaper removers than these, e.g. LA FRESH. Don’t waste your money, they don’t work well.

Thoughts: Smell fades fast (a plus in my book), but feels kind of sticky at first.

Thoughts: Cool? Haven’t tried it yet, but I am intrigued.

Thoughts: This isn’t bad, but nothing special.
This box is much better than last month’s value of $12.23. I honestly think this box is better curated because it seems like one of their more generic boxes for those that picked the ruffian polish, which is understandable. That being said – it is ridiculous that the ruffian full-size is 5 mL. For real?! Even Julep, who is notorious for having bullshit small full sizes, is better than this. It is bad when Julep is better than you. The color is okay, thought it would be a little bit more lavender. It’s more silver tinted lavender than lavender tinted silver. The eyeliner is nothing impressive, it goes on nicely, but not sure the staying power is good. It is a nice deep black though. Don’t even waste your money on those nail polish removers though. For considerably less, the LA fresh ones are much cheaper and work 10x better. The rest is ok. It’s an okay birchbox, but not a great one.
